Rooted in the historic cotton mills of Ancoats, Manchester, our collections are meticulously constructed from 100% organic cotton, prioritising both environmental responsibility and exceptional craftsmanship. Our name comes from the old english 'to hew' meaning to craft an item from natural materials.
Designed with comfort and longevity in mind, we carefully choose our yarns and fabrics and utilise careful construction techniques to ensure a perfect blend of luxury and long-lasting wear in a huge variety of colour.

From a launch range of 12 colours, listening to our customers we've added in more and more nature-inspired tones to our range, more than doubling in size - from deep Ocean Blue to vibrant Flamingo Pink to our best-selling Natural Cotton (which is as it sounds, undyed and natural). So whatever you're looking for we've got your street and lounge essentials covered in every shade - and if we don't have it drop us a note and we'll see what we can do!
How do you make so many colours without creating huge amounts of pollution and waste? Well, we use a process across our dyed colour range to ensure our waste-water and dye chemicals are separated and cleansed to ensure they don't damage the local environment and because we make-to-order we don't create things you don't want.

We reduce waste by only finishing our items here in the UK when you order. A little wait (we dispatch in 3-5 working days), a lot less waste. Delivered with a carbon-offset and in recyclable carbon-neutral packaging derived from sugarcane.
